First Larne Indoor Bowling Club

First Larne Indoor Bowling Club held its first evening on Friday 30th September 1960 when the Minister, Rev. W J McGeagh delivered the first bowl to officially open the Club.
The Club has remained in existence ever since and still competes competitively in the Larne & District Indoor Bowling League. We commence our season in September and run through the winter until March.

We meet every Wednesday evening and the 1st and 3rd Thursday evenings of the month from 7.30pm onwards in the Church Sports Hall. Although the club plays competitive matches there are also practice evenings where fun and fellowship is enjoyed by all. We have a current membership of 25 and the good thing about the sport of bowls is that it can be played by anyone of any age.

If you are free any evening from September onwards and would like to try the sport please come along where you will be made most welcome.
