WHERE – Room 4 (coffee bar/crèche) and McGeagh Hall.
WHEN – our first morning took place on Wednesday 17th January and it was wonderful
to hear 17 toddlers and 15 adults enjoying play and chat in our church building.
We meet every Wednesday morning between 10.00am and 12 noon.
WHY – we aim to provide a welcoming place for all parents/carers to make friends
and feel supported and also a happy and safe environment for children to play, learn and interact.
We have continued to grow in number each week and are trying to recruit more helpers
to develop a rota. If you could spare a few hours on a Wednesday morning to come
along and help put out equipment, make tea, chat to the parents etc. you would be
very welcome. Thank you to all those already coming along, your input is vital for our success.
W.W.J.D. – What would Jesus Do?
In Mark 10 verses 13-16 people were bringing their children to Jesus to have
him touch them and he said “Let the children come to me”. It is our responsibility as
Christians to welcome children into our church.
Together we can build God’s church and we read in Romans 12 verses 6 to end how we
can serve. God has given us the gifts to do this and we should use them effectively.
Our role is to be faithful and seek ways to serve others with what Christ has given us.
What are you being challenged to do to build God’s church?
No individual has the capacity to express love to a whole community but the body of Christ does.
