We meet in First Larne at 11.45pm on alternate Saturday evenings for prayer before heading onto the streets of Larne.

Formed in 2009 Larne Nightlight volunteers have maintained a presence on the streets of Larne on a Saturday night and are now a recognised feature. As we serve people in this way we are seeking to fulfil a key part of our congregational ‘Mission Plan’.

We simply serve refreshments and offer help, such as slippers for feet that have had too much of high heels! Tea, coffee, hot chocolate or a mug of soup can be very welcome in the early hours of a Sunday morning! In addition, we are there to listen and show care.  We often have the opportunity to share the reason that we care – the love that God has shown towards us through Jesus Christ.

We go out alternative Saturday nights from 11.45pm-2.00am.  New volunteers are always welcome. Indeed, if you want to see for yourself we would be delighted to have you join with us for a night or part of night.
