"Hoping when the night is dark and full of terrors"

This has been one of those weeks when the events in our world have taken us on an emotional and faith roller-coaster ride. On the very day Northern Ireland got their first victory in the Euros there was the appalling murder of a highly competent and committed MP whose commitment to justice was matched only by her commitment to her two young children. It is at times like this we are left wondering just what sort of a world we live in AND how are we to continue living as discples of Jesus Christ.
