And So This Is Christmas! SERVICES on 17th

This Sunday, 17th December, our services have a very definite focus on Christmas. We warmly welcome visitors and friends.

At 11am our annual "Cradle Roll" service includes presentation of baptismal certificates to families who have had children baptised during the preceding year. In addition to the baptismal certificates these families will be receiving two gift books - "Come and meet... The Characters of Christmas" for the children and "Rescuing Christmas" for their parents.

During this service some of our families take the opportunity to leave gifts under the Christmas tree. In partnership with local charities we ensure these presents are greatly appreciated by families living through particularly challenging times.

This service is suitable for all ages. The teaching theme is "The Son's Gift".

At 7pm there will be a Candlelit Service of Lessons and Carols - "Journey to Bethlehem". Organisational representatives will read the lessons and special music will be provided by the Choir and the First Larne Old Boys Silver Band. There will of course be ample opportunity to sing some of our favourite carols. The teaching theme is "Your Gift?"
