CHRISTIAN AID WEEK LUNCH CHALLENGE

Sunday 17th May concludes Christian Aid week when local churches would often have their Christian Aid Soup Lunch.

There is much pressure on aid agencies across the world with increased demands on their scarce resources. As communities of faith in the Larne area, we want to continue to show our support for Christian Aid and also gather virtually for fellowship together!

So here is the challenge:

    Plan to have soup and bread for your Sunday lunch on Sunday 17th May 2020.

    Take a photo of those gathered around your home table and post it to your church Facebook page. Using Tag #LarneChristianAidLunchChallenge

    If you can, gather with other homes across a video chat (WhatsApp, Messenger, Zoom - whatever works for you) and post a picture of a screen showing homes joined together.

    Enjoy the fellowship and the soup!

For those who wish, Dr Colin McClure also invites you to meet up by ZOOM at 1pm on that Sunday to share fellowship and a Christian Aid prayer together. Simply send your email address to colinmcclure145@btinternet.com beforehand. Around 1pm he will email the link to the ZOOM meet up. Click on this link when you receive it, activate your video and microphone and join in.
