At morning service on Sunday 19th June 2016 presentations of inscribed crystal vases were made to Joe O'Neill and George McKinley to mark 50 years ordination as elders. Not only had they been ordained exactly 50 years previously - on 19th June 1966 - but there was an added poignancy as the presen

On Friday morning 1st July at 7.30am there will be a short act of remembrance at the town war memorial beside St. Cedma's Church of Ireland. This has been organised by the local branch of the Royal British Legion.

During July and August our morning services will continue to be at 11am. Join us for worship with an appropriately summer flavour when there will be lots for visitors and members of all ages! More details in attached document.

This very special service, involving clergy from local Presbyterian, Church of Ireland, Roman Catholic, Methodist and Salvation Army congregations, took place on Sunday evening 12th June. A large congregation received Her Majesty's Lord Lieutenant for County Antrim, Mrs.

Our recently selected elders-elect have begun the intensive preparation phase prior to ordination and installation in September. Last week they considered aspects of leadership and met with the Commission from the Presbytery of Carrickfergus.

Eileen Lorimer being presented with a cheque in recognition of more than 16 years service as church caretaker. She intends to use the money to purchase some equipment for the caravan in which she and her late husband Ernie spent many happy days.
