The services on Sunday 12th February at 11am and 7pm continue our look at what it means to be authentically CHURCH. This Sunday the readings, sermons and discussions are about giving - but not about money! How can that be?

It was Archbishop Desmind Tutu who famously said "I am puzzled which Bible people are reading when they say that religion and politics don't mix. " 

The theme of the services on 29th January is "A Serving Church in a Selfish World". We gain insight into how Christian service, though sacrificial, is an investment. The service will conclude with prayers and our annual act of commemoration of the Princess Victoria tragedy.

This week begins the start of an exciting new series on Sunday mornings and evenings that will run over the next two months. We will be looking at Gospel Shaped Living as a church, exploring how we can shine as lights in a dark world.

At this time of constitutional and political uncertainty take time to reflect on words, thoughts and actions.

The Christmas Day service at 10.30am is always a special time in First Larne. People of all ages (some with their toys!) gather in this informal yet significant celebration of the event upon which all history pivots.

Join us to experience an authentic Christmas. On Sunday 18th at 11am there is a service led by the children of PromiseLand - "The BIggest Present - Sent with Love" - and at 7pm a candle-lit service of lessons and carols - "LIght the Way!" - will have special music provided by our Choir and the Fi

Come along on Saturday 10th December (2-4pm) to First Larne's Halls and get that special Christmas present. Enjoy some seasonal refreshments. There is a very special place set aside for children.

What a great service we had when the choir from Roddensvale School communicated the Christmas message in their uniquely enthusiastic and well-honed manner. The service was held in the meeting house on Sunday evening 4th December.

Come and sing a few carols on Friday night (9th December) around the town Christmas tree at Broadways. The carol singing begins at 6.30pm for about twenty minutes.
